30" wide body channel
I went out on a limb several years ago with a 30" squeegee. My boss just loved his little 18". It was work getting him to admit these made life easier but now it's his number one go to squeegee. It's strong, long and reliable. I highly recommend buying a ledger handle to put on it because keeps your fingers from getting smashed between the handle and ledges and gets that much closer to the bottom edge of the upper windows.

The Ettore Super channel is a great wide body for storefronts.
The long tongue of the rubber helps get a good closeout.
Feels so heavy
Maybe I don’t know when to use this product, but I put a 24” in a sorbo quick release handle and spent about 5 seconds fanning before I said “this is gonna work”. It’s heavy. I need to try straight pulling with a pole before I can make a full judgement on this one.
Ettore Super Channel 30 inch
This channel streaks very badly for me. It seems that this channel is best designed for fanning, and I purchased it for straight pulls. Regardless of the type of rubber I use, I am left with large streaks.
30" aluminum Ettore channel
I have bought several of these channels and can't say enough good things about them. They have increased work more than I ever could have imagined. I don't know how we worked without them for so many years. Seriously one of the main squeegees to have to do commercial work. I have found that the ledger handle makes this work like a dream.
The 18" is designed poorly.
I like the bigger Ettore wide-body squeegees, but the 18" is designed differently and is finicky. My 30 has a better turning radius than the 18. Not sure what is wrong with this channel, but I'm not happy with it.
Heavier than expected, and massive on quality.
This is my first wide-body squeegee, and I was fully impressed with the feel of the thick, unbendable quality. It really does feel quite nice when in use. You really need to watch the angle though, because when you dip the angle of squeegee too low, then the thick metal can touch the glass. Scary to use on tint or film. Also, this squeegee is not as forgiving to uneven glass surfaces. On another note; the wide-body is too big to fit into some buckett hip-holsters without putting pressure on the rubber blade. Too much time in the wrong holster can affect the blade evenness. These are my go-to squeegees, so I would fully recommend them to any serious window washer. Always keep a smaller (more bendable) squeegee in case the wide-body can't find it's way to clean some uneven surfaces.
