The setup includes ¾ HP AC electric motor with brass direct drive rotary vane pump. Direct Drive rotary vane pump with brass housing is a name that also describes how the pump works. Direct drive means that the pump hooks directly to the motor and rotary vane means that the pump uses rotating vanes to move water. The brass housing is just the material used to make the housing. The setup will help you to reach those high windows that may otherwise be unattainable. The setup is easy to replace. The motor comes with an electrical lead that plugs directly into the lead coming from the switch box. The pump itself has fittings to match the hoses on your system, a perfect fit. When replacing this setup, reuse the original hoses and hardware because the setup does not come with new hoses or mounting hardware.
