The Triumph 6-inch Retractable Scraper makes easy work of all your specialized window scraping jobs. Paint, tape, stickers and construction debris like stucco or caulk can be quickly and efficiently removed from walls, windows, tiles, and glass. The Triumph Scraper’s hollow handle is ergonomically shaped to fit the human hand and is designed to fit on most extension poles allowing the professional window cleaner the ability scrape various debris from hard to reach windows with ease. With the push of a button - up and down - the protective shield raises and lowers, which means this retractable scraper operates without a separate protective cover. However, blades on the Triumph retractable scrapers wear out faster than regular Triumph scrapers. A white version of this scraper is also available. Blades for window scrapers are commonly available in stainless steel or carbon steel. Carbon steel is preferred for heavy use because it’s thicker and slightly stronger. Stainless steel blades are more flexible and more resistant to rust but aren’t quite as sharp. Stainless steel blades are only recommended if you scrape occasionally. This scraper comes with a carbon steel blade. Replacement parts and accessories can be found below. Love the ease of use
I'm on my second retractable scraper and prefer it over the ones with covers because you don't need two hands to use it...one to hold scraper and one to pull off cap, which is an advantage when working off an extension ladder and having to put the cover somewhere while scraping the window. The corners eventually get rounded and corner of blade is exposed, which is why I need to order another. It's ripping apart the inside of my pouch. But as far as safety, I've seen more palm stabs from window cleaners while putting a cover back on a scraper and have not encountered that issue with the retractable. It does need to be cleaned out in between blade changes because tape and stickier stuff scraped off windows can gum it up, but small issue to deal with for safety and convenience.

I have been using the white version of this for awhile and finally got a black one. I like the black because it doesn't "appear" to be dirty to the customer unlike the white one. It holds up for awhile, but it is plastic so don't expect it to last forever. The fact that you don't have to pull a cap off to use it is very convenient and time saving.
Did not last one job
Ordered a Z40 and received a Triumph 2000. The thumb button broke in the first hour of use and the cover will not retract. Useless.
