Choose a water fed pole system for your window cleaning work
Build your WaterFed® setup around the water at your jobs, the windows you need to reach, and the equipment you already own. Start with a pure water system and a compatible pole, brush, and hose, then check the fittings and maintenance supplies needed to keep them working together.
WaterFed® buying guide: filtration, pole reach, and accessories
What equipment do I need to get started?
A basic setup brings together a water supply, purification system, water fed pole, brush, and connecting hoses. Check what each package includes before ordering: a pole or system listing does not necessarily include every component for your job. Many brands of poles like Triple Crown will include the brush, tubing, and fittings. Other brands like Unger sell poles a la carte.
Compare abc pure water systems, including the Triple Crown SG2, and browse WaterFed® poles and pole parts to build your shortlist.
Should I choose DI-only or RO/DI filtration?
DI-only systems use deionization resin. RO/DI systems use reverse osmosis before final DI treatment, reducing the mineral load reaching the resin. Higher source-water TDS can exhaust DI resin faster, so compare replacement costs as well as the purchase price.
Measure your source-water TDS (total dissolved solids), estimate your water use, and check available pressure before choosing. There is no single system that is best for every job. Our DI versus RO/DI cart guide explains what to compare.

How do I choose the right pole length?
Check the highest glass you need to reach and the space available to position the pole. Compare actual extended pole length with advertised working height; they are not always the same measurement. Triple Crown poles use actual length as the advertised length. Also consider collapsed length for transport, weight, and flex at the extension you will use.
The Triple Crown Silver WaterFed® Pole is one option to compare. Review the selected length and included components rather than choosing by the product name alone. Read our WaterFed® pole selection guide for more detail.

Will my brush, hose, and fittings work together?
Confirm the brush and gooseneck connection, pole attachment, hose diameter, and fitting type. Similar-looking connectors are not proof of compatibility. Shop WaterFed® fittings and parts using the specifications for your exact equipment.
For pumps and filters, use the system's compatibility information and operating limits. Ask about the flow available at the brush with your hose length and number of poles before adding equipment.
Does pure water guarantee a spot-free result?
Pure water will dry spot free. If you see spots after cleaning, check output with a TDS meter to see if you are getting 0 TDS. If not, follow the system's instructions to change filters. If you have pure water, rinse thoroughly. Residue on the glass or frames can still affect the finish.
Use the model-specific manual for filter changes, flushing, storage, and operating limits. Find learning and maintenance links in our WaterFed® resource center.
