Rubber Replacement

Choose replacement squeegee rubber that fits your channel

Start with your squeegee channel's model, rubber profile, and length. Compare rounded and T-shaped replacements, check any model-specific requirements, and choose a pack size that suits how often you replace your rubber.

Buying guide: rubber shape, size, and channel compatibility

Will any replacement rubber fit my squeegee?

No. Match the rubber to the channel, not just the brand on the handle. Rounded and T-shaped profiles are different, and some channels require a specific replacement. Identify your channel model and check its product information before ordering. For help choosing the complete tool, read the squeegee buying guide.

What is the difference between rounded and T-shaped rubber?

The profile describes the part of the rubber that fits into the channel. Triple Crown AL's Rubber has a rounded profile and is listed for many standard channels. It does not fit channels designed for T-shaped rubber. Triple Crown T Rubber is sold for T-shaped channels. Confirm the exact channel requirements rather than assuming all aluminum or wide-body channels use the same rubber.

Which rubber should I choose for a Moerman Liquidator?

Compare the Liquidator Only Moerman Angle Cut Rubber 10 Pack with the requirements of your Liquidator channel. Choose the matching size and check the model's installation instructions. A standard straight-cut replacement and a product labeled for Liquidator use should not be treated as interchangeable without checking fit.

How do I choose the replacement length?

Check the channel's stated size and the replacement product's size options. Follow the channel manufacturer's instructions for rubber length, end position, and retaining clips. Do not assume the rubber should be cut exactly flush with the metal channel. For a channel that accepts T-shaped rubber, the Monster T-shaped silicone rubber roll offers a cut-to-length option. Confirm compatibility before cutting.

Should I choose soft or hard rubber?

Choose the correct profile first, then compare formulations for your working conditions. AL's Rubber is listed as soft; Pulex Hard Rubber is described for hot, humid conditions. Follow the individual product guidance rather than treating hardness labels as a universal temperature rule. If you are changing from a rubber you already use, confirm fit and try a smaller pack before committing to bulk quantities.

Should I buy a pack, a dozen, a gross, or a roll?

Compare the quantity and length in each listing. A dozen contains 12 pieces; a gross contains 144. Some products come in 10-packs, while a roll is sold by total length and must be cut as directed. Work out how many usable replacements you need for your channel sizes, allowing for cutting waste where relevant.

What should I check before replacing the rubber?

If the squeegee leaves lines, inspect the working edge for dirt, nicks, or wear and check that the rubber is seated correctly. Check the channel and retaining parts as well. Replace damaged or worn rubber with the correct profile and size, following the tool's instructions. New rubber will not correct a damaged channel or an incorrectly assembled squeegee.
