The reel works as a reel and seems like it'll hold up. But, the male hose end on the unit that connects to the supplied double female hose is way too short and the female hose bottoms out before engaging the seal. I tried a different hose of my own and the same issue. The only way I could get this to work was adding another rubber seal to the female end of the hose. The connection on the inside doesn't have the same issue and connects to my hose fine. The metal is nice and the handle seems sturdy, hoping it lasts. I'm concerned adding the extra rubber seal won't hold up and I don't understand how this manufacturing defect/tolerance issue wasn't caught or a different hose connection developed to fix before selling.
Not a good unit. Too small. The wind up is difficult. And using this with SG2 cart, the hose they put on the side of the reel is not long enough to reach the output connection when the cart is standing which is how I like to use it. Makes no sense. Everything on it bends easily
