This pole end fitting connects a pole to a Garden Hose and has a built-in shut-off valve.
Female thread attaches to male end of garden hose.
Quick connectors like this one can save you and incredible amount of time on the field.

Absolutely trash, disconnect is way to difficult. Always start leaking within a month of use and after a few months completely worthless. Stop using plastic.
Also pretty well the same comment. Getting it to disconnect is impossible. Have to use a garden hose connector with shit off valve and unscrew the connection. Also the plastic parts have completely deteriorated after not even a year of use. Praying for a stainless steel or brass solution to this problem.... maybe similar to those used with pressure washers.
The same comment as the previous review. It works but getting it to disconnect is difficult. I have to use a screwdriver to pry the plug out of the socket while holding the release sleeve back. I have begun to just unscrew it from the RO/DI filter I use it with. That is quicker than the "quick disconnect".
waterfed quick connect
This quick connect is essential for quickly connecting up or disconnecting your waterfed pole. I have used these for at about 3 yrs. now. Connecting this quick coupling has been much easier than disconnecting. In disconnecting I push the release sleeve back but it rarely comes apart this way. I usually have put pliers to hold the plug in side while using a screw driver to push in between the plug and the socket. Of course this mars both sides of the hook up and in time they need to be replaced. I have not experience any leaks in this hook up, which means it is a good hook up. I give it a 3 rating because of the difficulty in disconnecting.
