waterfed quick connect

This quick connect is essential for quickly connecting up or disconnecting your waterfed pole. I have used these for at about 3 yrs. now. Connecting this quick coupling has been much easier than disconnecting. In disconnecting I push the release sleeve back but it rarely comes apart this way. I usually have put pliers to hold the plug in side while using a screw driver to push in between the plug and the socket. Of course this mars both sides of the hook up and in time they need to be replaced. I have not experience any leaks in this hook up, which means it is a good hook up. I give it a 3 rating because of the difficulty in disconnecting.
