Goosenecks

Choose a WaterFed® gooseneck for brush angle and pole fit

Choose the connection and offset needed to place your brush against the glass. Match the pole tip, adapter, brush socket, and tubing route before comparing length or material. Extra reach at the brush is useful only when the setup remains controllable.

Buying guide: brush angle, pole threads, and tubing routes

Do I need an angle adapter or a longer gooseneck?

An adjustable angle adapter changes the brush's orientation. A longer gooseneck can position it farther from the pole. Consider the window recess, ledge, and your working position. Use the offset needed for the job rather than assuming a longer attachment is always easier to work with.

Will Euro and Acme connections fit each other?

Do not assume they will. Identify the thread or locking system on both the pole and brush connection. Use a conversion adapter only where it is specifically suitable for those parts. Confirm the product generation for branded connections, even when an older part looks similar.

What is the difference between the drilled and undrilled adapters?

Compare the abc Euro-thread adapter without a hole with the Euro-thread adapter with a drilled hole. The first listing identifies Euro male and female connections and no predrilled tubing hole. Choose the version that supports your intended tubing route and confirm fit before modifying a part.

How does a longer gooseneck affect handling?

Moving the brush farther from the pole changes the leverage you control. Consider the combined brush and adapter weight, especially at extension. Follow the pole manufacturer's accessory limits and inspect the adjustment or locking points before raising the pole.

What should I check along the tubing route?

Allow the brush to move through its intended adjustment without pinching or pulling the tubing. Check the hole, bends, connectors, and available slack. A mechanical fit at the threads does not establish that the water line will route correctly.

Can I replace an older attachment with a current model?

Match the exact pole and brush interfaces first. Record model names and dimensions rather than selecting by brand alone. Check what comes with the assembly; a brush, socket, jets, or tubing may be separate. Browse WaterFed brushes and fittings for the other parts of the connection.
